  • Really interesting look into the slave trade. Plenty of stuff to take in. Unfortunately it was marred by children being allowed to run around uncontrolled by parents who didn't seem too interested themselves. But will be returning after the school holidays are over.
  • Really interesting. A real privilege to visit the home of a man who through faith and determination changed the world.
  • Very well done and extremely interesting. Wonderful garden beautifully laid out, a credit to the city.
  • A disappointing place to what it used to be, seems like today's fragile temperaments were not able to digest a reincarnation of the grizzly conditions of the ships transporting slaves across the oceans of the world. Nor the graphic descriptions of the lingering smells of dead slaves, of which there were many, drifting around the bowels of the ships. Add to that the sounds depicting the screams of horror at the deprivation must have upset one or two people, including those who took the decision scrap it and replace it with the tepid offerings that we have today.
  • Lovely museum... thoroughly enjoyed myself.
