  • A newer museum, but, in that stage where the initial shine has worn off but it is too soon to do anything. Very good small collection of early motor vehicles. The chemist shop would have been brillian...  more »

  • Free Admission and easy to reach by foot if already in the City Centre. Lots to see and do. My 9 and 12 year old sons loved the retro games room (Bring lots of 20 pence pieces). Sit on a vintage tram,...  more »

  • Nice collection of early cars. New a few years ago but starting to look tatty in places. I loved the chemist shop and the co-op but there was no information and the plastic screen was so filthy that it was difficult to see through it and into the glass topped cabinets behind it. Also very dark.
  • Nice surprise,in what was on offer, lovely in sight into latter day transportation.Ideal venue to visit for all the family, situated in the old part of the town, drop off only for car visitors,no parking on site.Free entry, to a top notch exhibition.
  • Fascinating for all ages. Lots of see. Indoors great for rainy days. Tea room/cafe would have been great though we found a salt of the earth old fashioned cafe on the street corner just outside the museum.
  • A very enjoyable time wondering around at our own leisure. The tour of the fishing trawler was worth the time and very interesting.
  • This free museum has a nice selection of Old cars, bikes, trams, etc. It's not very big and only took us about 20 minutes to walk around, but your milage may vary.
