Old dock turned into a marina with some quite smart boats. Good selection of restaurants and coffee shops in the vicinity and a really friendly atmosphere. Free parking nearby.
This is one of my favorite marinas to visit just to have a walk around. There are plenty of boats old and new. It is clean and the locality around the marina is very interesting and old. Just around the corner is what we call the posh toilet and there are pubs and cafes nearby to get some lunch or a drink and there are plenty of seats to chill out on. The views over the River Humber are just fantastic. There is the Spurn Lightship Museum here also.
On a sunny day you could be anywhere. Best place in Hull town centre for independent restaurants and it's home to Thieving Harry's, best cafe bar in Hull.

Hull Marina.. Looks like its been abandoned 20 Years ago. Visited the Marina 30/08/15 and the place looked neglected, weeds growning from every crack or orafice & dog mess abound. Trip hazzards in various places, lots of block sets missing. A pub advetising cheap cider with broken steel framed windows & poor looking hand made sign writing did its part to attract the local loosers. Lots of carrier bags & junk floating in the murky coloured water finishes off the look. Hull has plenty of scroats & burglars, why not send them along there to do some Community service work? ......... it desprately needs it!! All in all not worth visiting, dirty ,drab & not worth getting your camera out. City of culture soon?? Mmmmmm ,multi improvements needed..
It's a modernised part of old Hull that's historical and worth a visit
Come here for walks all the time come rain or shine, it's always nice and relaxing
