We spent about an hour on the ice. The penguins were vital for new skaters. Cons: very small lockers and the most uncomfortable ice boots we have ever worn, we all had to give up skating due to the pa...  more »

Although it does need a bit of work, its overall not a bad place. As an ice hockey player for a hull team who uses the rink on a regular basis, i think the ice needs a bit of maintenance but majority ...  more »

  • Very affordable, quite and staff are helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking and the cost is taken off the price of your session. Not the most up-to-date rink available but by far my favourite.
  • Great ice rink! The the session times are convenient, it's quite large and has a lot to offer. My complaint is is that the rental skates are quite bad. The blades are almost completely dull and apparently only are sharpened once a year. Additionally the skates are solid plastic and are much more difficult to use compared to the skates on sale. However, there is a skate shop on site that sells everything you need. You can find also sharpen your blades there.
  • A great rink. Very cheap, and quite big with plenty of seating. The ice can be a little rough sometimes but generally pretty good.
  • Really enjoyed our visit here. Surprised that we weren't the oldest - it wasn't full of kids although there were a group of lads who were really good skaters but unfortunately they acted like knob heads, trying to scare people. Shame because I was impressed with their skating skills
  • After not been here for years it is good to see aids to help keep children upright whilst learning to skate.
