Hull's largest park, East Park offers space to move, relax, and learn. Take a stroll around quiet trails, brave a ride on the Wicksteed splash boat, visit an animal education center, or enjoy afternoon tea in the cafe. For a special treat, visit the walk-through aviary. It's one of the largest in the country and includes Koi carp, waterfall gardens, and exotic birds. To top it off, stop by the lake and take a ride in a swan pedal boat or a more traditional row boat. All boats run from the wooden jetty in front of the boathouse. Put East Park at the forefront of your travel plans using our Kingston-upon-Hull trip itinerary planning website.

  • Easy to find and free parking along inner road. Lots of space to run around. There's a good play area and a boating lake. Also there's a free mini zoo with llamas and peacocks, Guinea pigs and goats. There are monkeys and an aviary too. You'll find toilets at the zoo, boating lake and in the on site cafe.
  • What a great park! Such a variety of things to do. Kids love this place. The parks are very good. The splash boat when working is a good laugh! Lots of space, so never crowded. There are animals too and birds to look at. Well worth a visit!
  • Very good place. Lots to do. Bit upset that the log flume was shut but the Swan boats were so you can pedal a cross the water. The gardens are very nice and the cafe is reasonably priced. Near the local shops so very good
  • Its a lot better than if used to be, but it's still dated and when it's busy it's not easy to use the facilities. This park is historic part of Hull and it could be better if more money was used in its upkeep, down to the council, not the people who work there. Great place to chill on a summers day on the main green area.
  • A lot different to when I last came here years ago. Had a facelift and looks a lot better now. I especially like the cafe and library building in the middle with plenty of seating outside and a nice water feature too. The old log flume is still there but as of summer 2019 it was not in operation due to not being able to carry out some remedial work. I think this was due to some nesting birds or some other wildlife issue.
