#2 of 11 in Parks in Kingston-upon-Hull
Hull's largest park, East Park offers space to move, relax, and learn. Take a stroll around quiet trails, brave a ride on the Wicksteed splash boat, visit an animal education center, or enjoy afternoon tea in the cafe. For a special treat, visit the walk-through aviary. It's one of the largest in the country and includes Koi carp, waterfall gardens, and exotic birds. To top it off, stop by the lake and take a ride in a swan pedal boat or a more traditional row boat. All boats run from the wooden jetty in front of the boathouse. Put East Park at the forefront of your travel plans using our Kingston-upon-Hull trip itinerary planning website .

  • East park is easily the best "big park" in Hull from the animal centre to the splash boat there's something for everybody. Fishing Pedal boats Out door fitness area Play areas Football fields Rugby fields Skate park To name a few things the list does go on. If your thinking of visiting go ahead enjoy a full day of fun and adventure.
  • A lovely park with a great animal and bird centre. It has a great play area for the kids and if you want to have a bit more fun you can take a boat out on the lake or if your brave you can go on the splash boat
  • A beautiful well kept park and gardens wonderful boating lake and a great annimal sanctuary! Responsible dog owners are welcome as well as great waking/jogging and bike trails. There is also two fun packed parks with slides and climbing equipment and a little train that goes around the park as well as swan self peddled boats on the lake for hire responsible fishermen can also buy a day ticket
  • Love going to East park, it has some beautiful gardens, some of which the kids can run around in. There a huge lake with ducks and geese and you always see lots of fishing going on. It really is a park for everyone especially with their mini zoo for everyone to walk around and see the animals. Brilliant for the family and even has a family playing park, with disability swings in too. It's fantastic for a picnic but of you don't fancy that there's the cafe at the centre of the park.
  • East Park is definitely the nicest park that I've visited in Hull. There is lots to do here, especially for families, and I can imagine that in the summer this place will be packed. Among the attractions are Swan Peddle Boats, a splash boat, donkey rides, a mini train ride, some animals and a playground. There are also pleasant gardens and a nice cafe with toilets.
