  • A visit, especially on a beautiful day that is not to be missed. An exhilarating walk down from the car park leads you to the lighthouse. The story told by our guide "Hugh" was both exciting and very ...  read more »
  • 'START POINT'. The path from the car park follows the contours of the points dramatic landscape. Rock formations that reflect the colorful changes at sunrise and sunset. Rain storms can be seen across the bay, with impressive rainbows, at the right time of day, year. The 'ICONIC LIGHT HOUSE' is open for 'GUIDED TOURS', so watch their time table. Calm conditions in the bay and white horse waves reflect the 'POWERFUL SEARCH LIGHT BEAM' during the hours of darkness. Scenic views from up on top of the point, which guards the bay from strong winds and a place for any photographer to catch the 'CHANGING DRAMATIC LIGHT'. Ambient 'PEACE and QUIET', to which you can relax, listen to the 'SEA BIRDS', watch 'THE GRAY SEALS'. Well worth a visit and gets quite busy here during the tourist months, but don't let that put you off. 'GREAT VIEWS - DRAMATIC COAST LINE'......................
  • Wow it was windy. Too windy to even breathe. Pick your weather to visit!
  • Great views, fresh air and space what more do you want?
  • Lovely walk and beautiful views , in high winds and large seas it's particularly spectacular!
  • Whenever we have visitors to stay this is my first suggestion for a great day out! After a scenic walk from the car park, you reach the lighthouse and on certain days you can go on a guided tour. Incredibly knowledgeable, the guides take you all the way to the top of the lighthouse from which point the views are breathtaking. I have been several times and learnt something new each time!
