  • This minister could use some renovation...it is sad to see where parts of it are deteriorating. However, there are some beautiful parts, especially the misericords in the choir...do not miss them. Als...  more »
  • visited the Minster on a family. As with most historic buildings its a must if you like them. There is so much to see and look at. I could spend hours here

  • An absolutely stunning building and the only cathedral I've seen with a wooden roof.
  • Why a Minster not a Cathedral you ask. A cathedral is the seat of a bishop whereas a Minster is a very old church from saxo times usually attached to a monastery. This is a good one. Very imposing from the outside and very impressive from the inside. Not a great deal else to do but look at it but impressive all the same.
