  • Why a Minster not a Cathedral you ask. A cathedral is the seat of a bishop whereas a Minster is a very old church from saxo times usually attached to a monastery. This is a good one. Very imposing from the outside and very impressive from the inside. Not a great deal else to do but look at it but impressive all the same.
  • Beautiful church love the architecture
  • Beautiful cathedral. Former home parish of pilgrim Margery Kempe.
  • Lovely old church with a fine three manual organ attributed to Snetzler. Free lunchtime organ recitals during summer with tea, coffee and snacks sold in the minster before the recital. Well worth a visit.
