RZSS Highland Wildlife Park offers visitors a rare chance to experience past and present wildlife in the authentic setting of the Scottish Highlands. On display at this safari park/zoo are animals found in present-day Scotland, as well as species that lived in mountainous regions hundreds, even thousands, of years ago. The park’s numerous enclosures offer insight into the world of wolves, polar bears, wildcats, wolverines, beavers, red pandas, snowy owls, and arctic foxes. • We all had a great time visiting the park. It was really pleasing to see the size of the enclosures for the animals, much bigger compared to other zoos. This sometimes means having to spend more time....  more »
  • Nice to see some animals. A tad overpriced for what it is considering the drive through area had very little variation of animals. A whole load of grass and a road. However a pleasant way to spend a.....  more »

  • Lovely place to see some fantastic animals. Nice spacious enclosures. The feeding talks are really informative & interesting. Try to go on a cloudy cooler day, the animals are a bit more active so there is probably a better chance of seeing them. The food in the cafe is good. The shop isn’t the most expensive for souvenirs & the staff are friendly & helpful.
  • Definitely worth a visit. It’s always tricky seeing large animals like polar bears or snow leopards confined to a small area but I guess that’s the nature of zoos. Staff very helpful and informative at the “feeding time” sessions. Restaurant food good.
  • We enjoyed our visit. Good selection of animals, well laid out park, nice to have the walk around bit, and also the drive through bit. The animal talks were informative, and at the same time not too long for our 4 year old! At a leisurely pace can make a day of it. As with any animal place, sometimes animals less active than others, we were glad we had done a drive through past animals when we arrived, lots about active, and some near the road etc. Whereas when doing drive through part again when leaving the animals were not active/ in the distance.
  • It was a nice experience. Especially kids enjoyed vicinity of animals when we were driving around in the car (you can enjoy a kind of safari there). From the perspective of animal well being it is also much better than regular zoo. The animals have much more space there.
  • Absolutely amazing and worth every penny. The amur tiger herself is worth it, so beautiful, graceful and happy to pose for pictures. Make sure to stick around for various animals' feeding time - especially the stunning polar bears. Reserve at least 3 hours - we spent just over 4 hours, if you have a child, you'll probably need even more time! There are 2 cafes serving food and snacks. Plenty of parking spaces available.
