  • Flora McDonald met everyone on a Scotland tour. Her grave located here, with beautiful Celtic Cross. Worth seeing are also the other graves. A small detour is worth and not time-consuming.

  • The cemetery is easily found north of Uig. It was nice to see the grave itself up close, and some of the other plots were interesting. If you are interested in history, this is a good end to the Flora...  more »

  • Worth a look, keep an eye out for the grave marker for Alexander McQueen which is surprisingly also there.
  • This is just beyond words. The surrounding hills and the Outer Hebridies on the ocean are just breathtaking. The Kilmuir Graveyard is a stilling place.
  • This cemetery is absolutely worth a visit - and not only because of the tomb of Flora MacDonald. There are many interesting old gravestones here. And the atmosphere - if you are lucky, just alone to be there straight - is absolutely mystical!
