  • This was a very interesting castle to visit and explore. There were multiple boards they had historical information about the castle that were very informative.  more »
  • Popped in as we were visiting the area, castle has some intact rooms & staircases - fantastic views from the top (if you don't mind steep spiral stairs!) Lovely setting.  more »

  • Interesting castle in a beautiful spot, steep climb from the car park and not ideal for a wheelchair or pushchair. Take time to visit the Ormaig rock art, standing stones and cairn nearby!
  • Great walk with the dog, parts of the castle were fenced off but otherwise enjoyable.
  • good views from top of Tower
  • Lovely castle to explore without having to pay (for a change), not touristy and beautiful views
  • Brilliant views from the top descending the staircase to ground level Icould still smell the burning which happened in the 17th century
