  • Located in Kay Park, this monument is the largest in Scotland celebrating the life of Burns. It is well designed and seems like a popular venue for weddings.

  • Hello Folks, Well where will i start? My son and lovely new daughter-in-law, got married on a Saturday, the wedding prior to thiers was 25mins over. so, that left our party who,s wedding should have taken place at 3.00pm, late. the ceremony finish at 3.50'ish pm.then out came a member of staff saying " we close at 4.00pm and if you don't get the cars and the bus out of here (the monument center) they will be locked IN. that left very little time to get the all important Photographs. and no cars will have access to come back in to the center!. so the bride and groom will have to WALK to the barrier to get to their wedding car!!!! thank goodness the day was sunny and dry. the venue, lovely, the staff, well apart from the caretaker? who gave up his time to allow the taxis and limo to pick us up, were so unpleasant!
