  • This was the base for our 5 day stay. Wonderful accomodation in the Lodges. Pity the Boat Inn was closed though.

  • It's functional, serves a purpose. A little touristy but there you go. Shop staff very pleasant. Birds of Prey is amazing. The rest: meh.
  • One of my favourite places to go, so remote and really feel at peace when I go. It should be noted that mobile signal is poor/non existant because it is so remote. The food at the restaurant there isnt too bad, been twice, had one really good meal, the second was a little greasy but still very good.
  • Review based on food from Boat Inn only. I went here 8th August with my partner and our daughter, we have been many times before but only bought meals on a couple of occasions. Food was below standards so was not pleased at all, thinking it was just me when my partner and one of her other daughters both agreed for the money it was not up to par, had much better food from local pubs where I am from. Hoping this was just because maybe the staff were new since I never recognised any of them as with other visits always been very happy with the service and food. Shame as I don`t want this to put me off going as I really love it up there in the heart of Kielder. Hoping that this is just a one off but it will be a while before I next visit. Having said that it is just my opinion, I DO recommend visiting though.
  • Had a lovely weekend away here, very quiet and peaceful
  • Fantastic place to take the dog
