  • This must be one of the best preserved of the 3 remaining Eleanor Crosses and there is an interesting church there as well. 
  • Of the 14 originally built to mark every resting place on her body's journey from Nottingham to London, only 3 remain. This is the best example.

  • Totally stunning piece of work. He must have loved her so much as this is truly a beautiful tribute to Eleanor.
  • One of the few Eleanor crosses still standing. Still in good condition. Worth a walk over the old stone bridge and ford just 100 yards south along Queen Street.
