(4.1/5 based on 900+ reviews on the web)
Puzzling Place Ltd is exactly what its name suggests: a puzzling house of brain-twisting decor. Test your alacrity with the puzzles in the puzzle area at the top of the stairs and throughout the shop; both are free to enter. A small entrance fee will get you into the main attraction, the World of Illusion, which contains an "anti-gravity" room, a hologram gallery, and the "Eyelusions" exhibit. Be forewarned: The reality-bending exhibits might leave you reeling with laughter and dizziness. • A fun place. Good for families to spend a few wet hours indoors; plenty to do to amuse the young & old.
  • Good fun for the kids. Lots to see. Not the biggest attraction but for the price very reasonable. Will visit again
  • Very interesting and clever. Not a large place, but worth a visit if you're passing by.
  • Really entertaining. Have been twice. Kids really loved it
  • Fab place to spend an hour or two on a wet day in the Lake District! Very entertaining and interesting and some of the illusions have to be seen to be believed. The kids loved it, and the shop where there are more puzzles to try and any number of items to purchase.
