  • Never miss coming in here when we visit Keswick. The cafe is brilliant with picturesque views of Catbells. All cakes are very tasty and homemade. Staff are wonderful and who doesn't love outdoor kit?
  • I have had my rucksack for 38 years, a trusty Karrimor Good Earth. I thought a more modern one may now be called for. An assistant helped me select one after asking a number of questions. The one he s...  more »

  • Good store with very helpful staff. Bit pricey but has good sales and the knowledge is worth paying for. Also does boot services. Parking fairly close by.
  • If you wasn't to experience well trained hard sell pushy staff then visit here. Generally expensive also. I get the odd thing from here though, so not all bad.
  • They have everything you need here, the staff are very knowledgable and helpful!
  • Great local outdoor shop with excellent range of good brand products. Fantastic little tearoom located on the top floor that also has a disabled lift.
  • Visited this store as as my boots (bought elsewhere) were hurting. Norman, the wonderful person who served us, took my boots and shaved off a seam and stretched them - as part of the service. Got lots of advice and guidance. He was so helpful, friendly and knowledgable, as was his female colleague who helped my husband. They measured our feet and we purchased some fantastic insteps which I wear all the time. I also wanted some walking shoes and could not find the right ones so I asked Norman to see which shoes he thought and the ones he chose are absolutely perfect. I have worn them for long days since and love them. I would not have thought to choose these myself !! Just wish we had this shop closer to home. Thank you Norman.
