  • Superb venue. Stayed there for a friend's wedding. Magnificent halls, and the staff were amazingly helpful all the way through.
  • Only here for the gardens, which are lovely. Unfortunately the beautiful lake and walk are fenced off. An event prevents the best part of the trip. Had planned a picnic there. No mention on website checked before we came, no mention at ticket office. Let themselves down. Looking for a refund maybe.....If you come while the high metal fencing is up, watch out for wires sticking out My friend narrowly missed a nasty cut.
  • Wonderful location for the best festival in The UK
  • Having visited with friends on Tuesday the 5th July, we were only visiting the gardens, so we were upset to discover that the "disability route" was very difficult to get a wheelchair around. The gravel is not condusive to wheelchairs at all. I would suggest that if you are going to have separate walkways, you should make it a lot easier to manouvre. However we did enjoy our well deserved rest and lunch in the the cafe
  • Very sweet, perfect for a road stop.
