  • This museum contains carriages from the golden times of travel. Along with how were travelled during the war. You can certainly get up close to these carriages to see first hand how we use to travel. ...  more »

  • Fascinating. I spent about 2 hours in the museums. Lots of the carriages can be entered, triggering audio presentations, and those used in film and TV are identified. Good stuff!
  • Small but well formed museum well kept and very much a place too see we've visited numerous times my son loves it . Very cheap to visit and options to go on the steam train too .
  • A good little museum the carriage are beautifully presented with info about the tv programmes and films they have starred in some of the cabinet displays could do with some work but it is obviously run with love.
  • The guy who runs the workshop is a real credit to the place.all the work he does including engineering and coach painting is done to a very high standard,he's wasted at this place and should be running a much bigger workshop.
