  • Although the garden centre closes at 4pm, a lot of the menu is not served after 1530, so if you want soup and a sandwich on a bitterly cold day and arrive at 1530, you will be turned away. Disappointi...  more »

  • The guest chef, Sukie Barber, at Woodside walled garden made us a fabulous meal, probably the best meal out I have ever had. Each mouthful was sumptuous, the smoked haddock souffle was especially delicious. The service was impeccable too, very friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. So a good night's dining is to be had at the Woodside and I would definitely recommend it to those looking for a relaxing place to eat out and also to any foodies looking for something a bit special.
