  • Looks like a good walk from Harestaines visitor centre but we knew our old dog wouldn’t manage so we drove much nearer. No proper car park but enough space on the road to park safely. Nice 10-15 minute walk through woods but then a stile unsuitable for dogs so we needed to take turnabout waiting behind the stile. Views worth the short climb.
  • Eerie but a very fitting monument.
  • Stunning views.
  • Good walk with dogs from nearby Ancrum or Jedburgh. There is nearly always livestock so be careful. The views of the surrounding borders are impressive.
  • Lovely views
