  • The most delicious, delicate scallops of my life. Perfect sweet oysters and thick hearty chips. Very friendly folk, happy to tell their story about how the oyster shed got started. Best meal we had on skye
  • It is without doubt the best food on skye, this is the food you imagine when you think of skye. Handy for the distillery as well
  • I visited the Oyster Shed in August, the seafood was about as fresh and tasty as you could possibly hope for. The people who run the shed were very friendly and I don't think you can really complain at the prices. Park near the Talisker Distillary and walk up the hill to save the trying to get parked, as it can be busy.
  • A fantastic experience! Rustic yet delicious and with great views of the bay and surrounding hills The seafood was SO unbelievable fresh. Great little stop when in Carbost and even worth going for!
  • Dissapointed , great view! lobster was OK , chips (what very few I was given) could have been supermarket frozen and soup (bisque) was handed back to staff informing them that is was just not nice, reply was (oh) I must say we should have gone to the pub next to the distillery as their fish and chips were great.
