  • Tends to get over-ran; visit when quiet if able. Attending a 9pm service is well worthwhile for the atmosphere.

  • We spent a week on Iona at the B&B. We ordered a sack lunch each day and explored the island on foot. That was the only way to get around since you do not bring your vehicle on the island. You only see a small handful of cars and they belong to the residents there. We have such great memories of the place and the locals. Loved listening to their stories. We covered the entire island exploring different places everyday. Every time I see pictures I feel like I am back there for real. If I had one place I could visit over it would be Iona. Isle of Skye comes in second. You just never forget the impression people leave with you. Take me back!!!
  • Ancient burial site of Lords Of The Isles. Beautiful stillness. One of the thin places.
