  • I think this must be the most boring museum I've ever visited. It's ok if you like looking at China items in cabinets, but there is not much else to see. We were told at the entrance that there were d...  more »

  • Just terrible. Expensive, badly set up, jumbled and with grumpy staff to boot. The lady making the China flowers was the exception, she was stand out friendly, happy and knowledgeable.
  • Very interesting. Can paint your own ceramic item that are all hand made on site. In total probably spent 30mins looking around the museum and a good 45min painting in the clay workshop. Great for both kids and adults.
  • A China factory until 1926, museum not holds relics from the day. School term times allow for have-a-go sessions.
  • Sounds boring but my kids 5 and 10 like it here, as get to clay model for small fee and paint clay flowers for 50p to keep or paint paper plates for free. Cafe next door and nice walks, canal next to it with bridge over river to maws craft centre and tile museum. All in lovely settings. Tar tunnel also next door and blist hill near by, shuttle bus runs to all, and is free with ironbridge passport. 40 percent off passport with flexcard/TLC card.
  • Very highly recommended.
