  • I've been using this park for the last 8 years either as a place to take my son or as part of my running route. The volunteer group have worked so hard to make this, in my opinion, the best part in Ip...  more »
  • If you're in Ipswich but cant get to the countryside then its a good place to be, lots of space to wander, a fantastic play area if you've kids, and an acceptable cafe (slightly lacking in service)
  • We dressed up with our warmest outdoor gear for what we expected was going to be a fresh afternoon stroll. Needless to say the afternoon sun together with a slight breeze made for a very pleasant walk...  more »

  • Visited Holywells Park to see the Pigs gone Wild trail and ended up in the beautiful park in the middle of Ipswich. It was a very hot day so we ended up in the shade away from the play area. Play area was excellent with fountains for the kids to get wet.
  • Holywells Park is something of an Ipswich oasis. A beautiful park near the town centre which is well looked after and always feels very safe. Lots of considerate dog-walkers and great facilities including a cafe, playground and a running course with different outdoor exercise points along the way. Plenty of lottery money has been spent on the park and it has been well thought through. Also lots of organised activities take place throughout the year
  • Great park for the family. Excellent facilities, nice cafe, lots for the kids to do in the playground (including a water play area). Only niggle is that, although it is on a bus route, the car park on the Cliff Lane side is now blue badge only and so remains entirely empty while most cars have to park on nearby streets and often end up badly parked causing problems for local residents/traffic.
  • Clean, quiet and peaceful. Great place to walk on a sunny day. Good for kids and families. Lots of open space for games and nice play area for the kids!
  • There is a great playground in the middle with toys for the little ones and older kids too.
