  • Always a great time, Rollerbowl has been a staple of Inverness since I was born and we bowl here regularly. This place has all the character you'd expect from a bowling alley and is a gem in a city wh...  more »
  • Bowling is always fun in my opinion and as long as it's clean, tidy and well organised there can't be much wrong. The staff are usually friendly, helpful and if anything has happened on the lanes they...  more »
  • Great time at rollerbowl with the wife and kids. We only played one game as it takes a fair while with the wee ones but enjoyed it a lot. We struggled with the computer entering names but a member off...  more »

  • Fun bowling with retro decor but food expensive and staff rude. Air hockey was a fun activity for after our game.
  • Great fun. Staff are very friendly. Great for all ages.
  • It's fun, but expensive and needs a total renovation! Looks the same from when I was coming here 20 odd years ago!
  • Food and drinks are very expensive, but the games are reasonably priced and there's cool extras such as air hockey and pool tables
  • Excellent day out with or without the kids :D, has a Bar and eating area to eat your Rollerburger :) also a mini arcade and plenty of bowling for all ages :D

Where to stay in Inverness

You’ll easily find bed and breakfasts and guesthouses convenient to the center of town in Inverness, from the cozy to more large-scale places, often with a view down to the River Ness, which later joins Loch Ness. For more affordable accommodation, look for a few budget hostels, as well as camping and caravan sites. If you've got a car, consider staying just outside the city in a quiet village, where you can explore the city by day and nature by evening. Since this is the largest city in the Highlands, you'll probably be able to find something last minute, but if you have a specific type of accommodtion in mind, it's a good idea to book in advance.
