  • It was a little wet the day we visited so this was a welcome treat. We sampled a few and bought a few! The two ancient barrels that never empty was a real story and the '1745' (i hope i have the date ...  more »
  • More whiskies than we had ever seen in one place. The Manager was very knowledgeable. Samples were generous so go careful if you're driving. Ranged from £20 to £2800 a bottle!!!  more »

  • Visited the shop twice in 2015 and received the best service possible. The store manager is extremely well informed on all the products but most importantly goes to great lengths to find out exactly what you want whether for your own personal taste or for a gift. The shop is attractive and atmospheric and well worth a visit.
  • Great selection of whiskey all crammed into a small shop. Got myself a bottle of the Loch Fyne Living Cask.
  • Friendly knowledgeable staff, great selection of Whiskys but expensive compared to supermarkets and online.
  • This was an worth the trip to Scotland alone. Excellent service (with sample tastes) and a really good amount of the finest whiskeys. Highly recommended!
  • Good selection of whiskies but prices are not as keen as they used to be and staff didn't seem very knowledgable at all. overheard completely wrong information given to other customers, a real pity as this used to be one of the best places to stop and buy whisky in the world
