  • We were lucky with beautiful weather for this walk. The walk takes in great views both of the waterfalls and surrounding area. Lots of steps and some uneven ground gives your legs a good workout.  more »
  • Arrived not quite knowing what to expect. Paid our way into the car park and had a bowl of soup and cuppa in the cafe before heading on our way on the well marked route to the falls. What a stunning w...  more »

  • Spectacular scenery at the halfway mark after the grand waterfall, completely blown away breathless. Total walking time is about 3-4 hours average walking speed and a few rests here and there. Free parking is available once you purchased the ticket. 6 for adults or 15 per family. The beginning trail through the forest gives you a nice workout with increased heartbeat rate. Halfway through the trail you will see public bathrooms. Do bring some snacks, fruits, and water. Some paths are muddy and wet so dress accordingly. Get shoes with good traction as well.
  • An absolutely superb walk. It's very long but worth it for the views. I went with a 11 and 15 year old. My 2 year old walked for about 20 minutes and then had to be carried. He climbed trees, splashed in puddles and washed his wellies in the river. Spectacular views as you go further along the trail. There is a cafe half way along. Beware of the very steep climb half way through.
  • A lovely walk well worth the £6 (for adults). It’s a manageable walk for most people (about 4 miles) even if you’re not that used to doing a lot of exercise. There are quite a few steps in places though - if that’s an issue. The whole area is very well maintained with good paths and facilities along the way.
  • A good walk with different terrains... lots of steps... good spots to have a picnic. There's toilets & small coffee stop half way around. Will definitely go again earlier in the morning then drive a bit further up north for a bite to eat & to take in the views.
  • Strenuous but we'll worth the walk and the entrance fee. Coffee cake and the service in the cafe was great. Was nice to be able to see where your entrance fee is going with plenty of development on the walk. Wonderful day out.
