  • The best afternoon tea around. Excellent value for money and exquisite cakes with lots of attention to detail. Beats any London hotel tea, any day. C.Pithers

  • Amazing place. Beautiful gardens. The house is a truly piece history.
  • Beautiful place. Food is always lovely
  • The charm and allure of Ingatestone Hall really lies in the warmth of the people who work there. I was there at the end of the day on a busy bank holiday weekend and yet they still treated our party like we were the first. It's clear that they genuinely love the history of the house and the area and happily share their knowledge if you show an interest. Having said that, the history of the house and the Petre family is certainly worth the trip as well. It's well preserved and I could have wandered the 2nd floor for hours. While it's not the biggest or most notorious Tudor structure, it's well worth the trip and the entrance fee to check it out.
  • It is awesome for after school hanging out!
  • The guided tour of the Hall was very good. The the tea and biscuits was good value for money, nicr big airy room. The Lemon Drizzle was devine. A very good afternoon was had by all
