  • We visited on a sunny bank holiday and surprisingly it wasn't that busy. Only the outdoor pool was open the indoor pool was shut. The admission price for the day was £10.20 for 1 adult and 2 children....  more »
  • We visited the lido on a lovely sunny day . What a really lovely place to go for the day. The water was chilly but we still really enjoyed our time there. The pool and surrounding areas were clean and...  more »
  • Considering the LIDO is 1930's, its in great condition. The LIDO is a great size split between the shallow and deep ends with a central 'lane swimming' section. Its surrounded with grass areas incorporating seating and picnic benches. I found the staff to be exceedingly friendly and helpful. The LIDO is freshwater with a special filtration/sterilisation system which I prefer as chlorine can be somewhat drying to hair and skin. I hope to go at least once a week.
  • I love going to ilkley lido with my family and friend. I love to swin and just have a good time. But I went yesterday and were the shallow part joining on to the swimming lanes is the pool has all these sharp bits in it . I must have cut my foot in the pool and not realised. So when I got out and was dressed . I looked at my foot and it had been cut in 4 or 5 different places and was bleeding quite a lot . I had to ask for a plaster and a sterol wipe. Apart from that I had a good time. this is also the second time my foot has been cut from the pool surface here also its in the area little kids go so it is health and safety. I did in enjoy myself tho and do hope to go again sometime this summer. I just wont be going in the shallow part/ swimming lanes. thank you but apart from the pool surface I do recommend it .
  • Lovely place. Cute setting It was windy when we went and the water is freezing but what do you expect??
  • There is two pools (one indoor and one outdoor) and a café with outdoor seating. The lido isn't heated. Also there are tennis courts outside the car park.
  • Lovely to chill out on a hot day. The pool is lovely & refreshing. It is not too chlorinated.
