  • Great morning family activity to take our granddaughters to. Variety of different themes and events to visit throughout the year. Recommend.  more »
  • It's a very lovely museum but to be fair the picture of the clowns sort of unnerved the museum. I felt like I was walking in the movie "it". Lovely staff!!!  more »

  • Lovely little museum, we visited for their Circus Skills event during half term. Didnt get to see the museum in as much detail as I'd have liked but got a brief look and we will be visiting again. Little cafe and set of toilets
  • A jewel in Ilkeston crown. Great little museum with lots of events in the outside area. A new cafe is a nice touch. Well done Erewash.
  • A small Museum to learn about local history and the Ilson folk who have lived here for years. They do have special events on during the year so contact the Museum or Erewash Borough Council to find out what's on. Coffee shop is now open when the museum is open. Well worth a visit
  • A warm friendly welcome and a fair reflection of the influences on Ilkeston folk in the last two centuries. The staff and volunteers do a grand job despite the continuing difficulties with lack of funding and visiting is still free of charge.
  • Brilliant place to go with the kids, especially in the holidays.
