  • We bought a season ticket this year because we love it so much! Our 4 year old is obsessed with the place! You'll need energy and good walking legs as it's a bit of a trek round and steep in some part...  more »
  • Great place, love it. My husband likes being there more then the kids. Food is great and fairly priced too. :)  more »
  • Used to visit here as a child many years ago so when I took my own family I wasn't expecting to see that very little hard changed, other than the admission price, quite shabby and dilapidated.  more »

  • At first I thought it was expensive as I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised at how much there is in this place. Great for children especially the younger ones. The castle itself is entertaining though the majority of the entertainment is the rides and activities in the grounds so at least mainly dry weather is required to truly appreciate everything. A return card can also be purchased for a nominal fee to give heavily discounted access at a later date in the same season.
  • Great family day out with younger children. Beware if you take older relatives as it's all in a steep hill and tiring for healthy legs. Rides and amusements are very good and we loved the castle and it's dungeons. Would recommend
  • Our kids aged 3 and 5 both loved their day out at Watermouth Castle. There's plenty to do both inside and out so the rain wasn't too much of a problem, although a few dry hours to get round the theme park outside was helpful! The kids loved the old fashioned amusement machines and rides, a good number of which are suitable for toddlers. The air cannons and 'Tilted House' were firm favourites.
  • Not what I expected at all thought it was just a castle but no it's a museum . With an amusements area in the ground great for the kids . 13.50 to get in. Bit expensive for a big family. But all in all a great day out
  • Fantastic for young families. Eclectic mix of old slot machines and random stuff in the castle with a great theme park for younger children in the back. Thoroughly enjoyed a full day here.
