Spend the day admiring Victorian beauty at North Devon’s Watermouth Family Theme Park & Castle. Situated overlooking Watermouth Bay, the 19th-century castle is now home to an impressive Victorian antique display and a family theme park. Venture underneath the castle to see the spooky dungeon labyrinths or underground watershow. Kids love wandering through Gnomeland or floating down the 100 m (328 ft) lazy river ride. • We (4 x adults and 1x 3yr old) rented one of the holiday apartments inside the castle for a week. It was fantastic. The indoor pool was lovely and we had it to ourselves most of the time despite all 6...  read more »
  • Childhood memories rekindled. This place has not changed in over 20 years when I came as a kid but in a good way! The whole place has such an olde Worldy feel to the attractions but is totally the cha...  read more »
  • Hod no idea what to expect. But Wow what a pleasant surprise. Large park but easy to walk around, and everything was so well priced, didn't feel like they were trying to wring every penny out of you. ...  read more »
  • Loved, loved, loved Watermouth Castle. For starters the gardens are incredibly pretty and the castle is very imposing. Then it is filled from start to finish with amazing displays and rides. We went with our two year old and there was very little he couldn't go on. It was great value for money and we loved that the games and ride ons (think claw machines and those rides you get outside the supermarket) that weren't included in the entrance fee were only 20p a go. Everything else is included though. The facilities were all clean. Several places to eat and the food was good and not overly expensive. A thoroughly enjoyable day out and one we would certainly return to if on holiday in the area again.
  • Fantastic for young families. Eclectic mix of old slot machines and random stuff in the castle with a great theme park for younger children in the back. Thoroughly enjoyed a full day here.
  • Holidaying in Combe Martin later this year just so we can re-visit this place. First discovered Watermouth Castle years ago and it just gets better. Beautiful gardens, quirky from start to finish, and highly entertaining - always gives us a good laugh. Can't wait to see it again!
  • ok so I have been going to Watermouth Castle since i was three and it never gets old. I love the dungeons, though snow white is very creepy (though i like it!) Just amazing. I live in Norwich so it takes 6 hours though we stay at combe martin and that's a very lovely place.
  • Nice place to visit with family, the dungeon was a little spooky for young children. Quite an eclectic mix of attractions but nice.
