  • It's two weeks since this disastrous visit, and I've not had chance to review till now. It's not the actual aquarium, I was just using the coffee shop to get a cup of take away tea. The young lady tak...  more »
  • This is a very small aquarium but they pack a lot in and the kids loved it. It covers the story of the local waterways from stream to sea and the staff were friendly and informative.  more »
  • Lovely quaint little Aquarium with lots of information about the fish they have and a nice little quiz for children. There aren't that many tanks and it can get a little squashed when it gets busy but...  more »

  • This aquarium is small, and seems a little quirky from the outset, but once you go through the doors it's really quite remarkable. There is a large amount packed into this small space, but it doesn't feel cramped; I feels well thought out. There are lots of fish and other marine life to see, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to engage children and answer questions. For such a small place we left feeling we really got more than our money"s worth.
  • Really enjoyed our visit here. Yes, as others say it's small and theres not a huge amount of space when it's a busy day. But the staff here are really friendly, know their stuff and will happily explain things to kids and feed the fish for them to see. Even better, if it is too busy you can go around a second time on the same days ticket.
  • It's very small and very cramped. There's a good variety of fish and marine life. The staff were fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. Costs around £4-£5 each but only takes about 30mins to have a really good look around so I still feel it's expensive for a family.
  • Went early in the morning so no one else around but wish we had stayed in bed. Staff were lovely but that doesn't make up for the cost of getting in or the fact that we were out of the aquarium before we knew it, local garden centre near me has a bigger aquarium selection. Very disappointed
  • Staff are really friendly and helpful but the place is so small and the parking is ridiculous during the summer. Considering this is sat on the Atlantic coast the sea life is pretty poor not alot of stuff to see for the price you pay. I wouldn't go again as it's a 2 minute walk around.
