  • Always love a visit to this beautiful country park. Not too big and lots of history with a lovely lake and playground too. The cafe is good too but food could be improved for the prices they charge. Ca...  more »
  • This is a nice place to walk around. They have a red route and a shorter blue route, however the markings are not very clear/up-to-date and so difficult to follow, this should be addressed.  more »
  • We visited on Good Friday so it was fairly busy. I can imagine in high Summer finding a parking place could be a problem, The car park charges are very reasonable however. The facilities appear very g...  more »

  • Brilliant day out for just the cost of parking. All day weekdays: £1.50; weekends: £2.50. It has a lovely little park wish the kids loved, before adventuring off around the walk. We took a picnic, but wished we had tried the café, as it so well priced. And it's only minutes from Ashford.
  • It's a very nice and relaxing country park for family, very nice picnic spot, good car park, good play area and calm woodland walk
  • Love taking the kids and dog here. Well maintained, Interesting nature walks, good quality play park and a nice little veggie cafe serving wholesome home made food.
  • Absolutely great Park..Not so big as children get bored, just enough walking and terrific play park. Cafe is friendly and we'll priced, coffee was gorgeous!! Not a bad 'free' day out...picnic areas are well maintained although some people 'camp' on mass on the benches having barbecues...always a little worried about fire hazards around young children who are running about freely. All in all though, myself and the Cooke family enjoyed our new find.
  • A nice place for a day out with a good little cafe for lunch. They only serve vegetarian food but it tastes good!
