  • Fine large 1930s style building. Contains town library, local studies library and art gallery which has Lowry’s and other local artists. Also may have temporary exhibitions.
  • If you're in Huddersfield shopping, its really worth having a look in the art gallery as sometimes they have some great exhibitions on. It's a really big space and they often run workshops etc if you're interested in art. Staff generally leave you to browse but are happy to help if you have questions.
  • Happily spend an hour or so looking at exhibitions of work by local artists and special exhibitions of work on tour.
