  • Great park. Great walk, lots of hidden features, a hidden gem. Went with an 8 year old and we both enjoyed it
  • I live within a few miles of this park and have only just discovered it. It is on a hillside and the views from the top are lovely. It is very quiet but does have small childrens play area and a small...  read more »
  • Great place for a day out, or just a few hours. I have visited it hundreds of times & never seen all of it yet. The plants, flowers & trees are looked after very well & there are some stunning views f...  read more »
  • This park is near me and I visit with my dog all the time and when my kids were young. It has fantastic panoramic views across the Holme Valley. It's a beautiful Victorian heritage park which clings to the top of a wooded craggy valley. It has 6 entrances at various points around its perimeter. Some parts still have the Victorian boundary railings. It has disabled ♿ access to the main parts of the park and some wooded parts. The Park is looked after by a volunteer group known as 'friends of Beaumont Park' there is a cafe, public toilets and a bandstand where events are held regularly. There are two ponds one which has a fountain. Some of the woodland walks are rough paths they weave down to the main road below the park, but the ones near the top are tarmac/gravel. If you walk down to the bottom road through the park and walk another 5-10 mins or drive for 5mins, there's a lovely ice-cream 🍦 manufacturer and parlour known as 'Dixons' a nice treat after your walk.
  • Beaumont Park is a park in Huddersfield. People have houses close to it and I am jealous of their supposed wealth. The wood shavings were comfortable to sit on, however I would not cover my floor at home in them because we have chairs. The swings are a great inclusion and allowed me to relive the carefree folly of my youth. However the little duck toys are not built to support a 20 year old man's weight. There are a lot of trees and nice flowers in the park. This means both oxygen and colourful landscapes are plentiful in supply. Overall I would definitely go back with chums off my course and have a carefree game of rounders and/or tag.
  • Had a great time there today. A good way to kill a few hours. Nice walk, with good places to stop and have a picnic. There are a couple of small, but functional play areas for the children to play on. The whole park was clean and tidy. Will be making more visits for sure!
  • Great park, loads to explore
  • Like this place, quite small and not much to do, but a nice walk and plenty of history about the place.
