Performances, gigs, theatre, dance, events; The Old Market, recently renovated, is a dynamic cultural venue just outside the city centre.

The Old Market’s main space is a 300-500 capacity room with the flexibility to showcase everything from rock bands to exciting new theatre or cabaret. Recently re-fitted, The Old Market (or TOM for short) is also home to rehearsal spaces, production facilities and art and photography galleries. TOM’s bar, open on all event nights, hosts its own entertainment from comedians to film screenings.

  • Linked to the close by City Books. Theatre shows and lectures. Good venue with a bar and seating. Centrally located in Hove. 
  • We are always made to feel welcome here. They have a great variety of performances and I've enjoyed every one of them that I've been to. 
  • A wonderful historic building. What "Brighton Arts" is all about; theatre, comedy, dance, music... Just off Western Rd, near Brunswick Sq.
  • Nice venue. Decent bar and great theatre space.
  • Great venue in Brighton. All sorts of productions from rock concerts to Christmas pantomime. Beautiful old building. We need more places like this....
