  • Sarah and Mark are wonderful, as was my tour guide Chris. Friendly, wonderful people making phenomenal cheeses. The Dill Slipcote is outstanding and obviously Brighton Blue is one of the finest cheeses to have been produced in this country.

  • My wife bought me their cheese making course as a Christmas present and we went in February. It was really great fun, very informative and included a lovely lunch, lots of cheese tasting and an interesting tour of the cheese making facility. The owners, Mark and Sarah, are a lovely couple and together with Gary, cheese maker, they make the whole experience special. We learnt how to make a cheddar, a soft fresh cheese, a recotta and an haloumi. We came away with our own cheddar, which we will leave to mature, fresh cow's milk cheeses which we can consume now and the haloumi, which is also for immediate consumption. Even if you're only mildly interested in cheese it's a great beginners course. I would higkhy recommend it. Oh and all the cheeses they make are delicious too. You get to try them all on the course and can buy them in local shops and in some of the national supermarkets too.
  • I bought this sheeps' cheese at a farmers' market in Westerham, Kent and was instantly impressed by its creamy and lightly smoked flavour. This is only the second sheeps' cheese that I have tasted but nevertheless it has become my favourite, so much so that I have looked up the local farmers' markets in my area in order to coincide my weekly shopping with the next local market. Definitely a hit!
