  • Friendly and peaceful, had the thrill of spotting the kingfisher. Saw lots of bluetits at the next roomy hide. Had to drag the children away at the end of the day. Lovely clean picnic area and simple, reasonable tea room. Easy to get to, lots of parking. We loved our day here and look forward to seeing it again at a different time of the year...
  • Beautiful little reserve. Generally wheelchair accessible. Large lake with good variety of waterfowl and look out for the kingfishers. Normally on view. Four bird hides offer good views.
  • Beautiful lake and walk, well looked after and lovely walkways mean you don't get wet feet.
  • Lovely local Nature Reserve. Several walks for all levels of ability. Friendly and helpful staff. The heronry is amazing.
  • Love it here with my twin boys the staff are so helpful and answer all their questions :) Brilliant day out
