  • This is a wonderful place to bring kids of any age, as long as they will enjoy the interaction with the farm animals. It's a working farm, and that is the theme of the day. So my 10 and 12 yr old grandchildren enjoyed it so much, they enquired about coming back as 'volunteer helpers'. My 5 yr old grandson, who is a bit wary of animals of any kind, enjoyed it, but not as much. The wool-spinning ladies were wonderful with my grand-daughter, showing her how to weave, braid etc, and giving her samples of her work to take home. I think she's found a new past-time / 'craft-type' hobby. The admission prices are very reasonable at £7 pp ... Not too many attractions these days will get a family of 5 in for £35. And a big plug for the staff ... They all seemed to be enjoying their day as much as the visitors.
  • Great friendly animals, even for my 2 year old to hold and stroke. The staff are really helpful knowledgeable and friendly. At £7 I would have expected the tractor train to be included.
  • Lovely place for kids. Really hands on with a lot of happy and well cared for animals. Food is basic but nice.
  • Took my mother and daughter to the farm, and we all loved every minute! Loved being able to interact with the animals and all in our own time. The tea room is great little treat too!
  • amazing family day out. lots of interaction with animals and knowledgeable staff
