  • What a great place. We pre-booked a tour as they can only take a few people round at once. There are two tours a day, we chose the morning tour and were warned it would take 2 hours. We had an excelle...  read more »
  • Booked this for my Dads 80th Birthday, and it was fantastic. The brewery still produces beer in the traditional way, and it is utterly amazing to see. The staff were just out of this Mum co...  read more »
  • We was lucky to get on a tour last friday afternoon, you must call/ email first as they get booked up very quickly even more so on Saturdays when they have more tours. We arrived early so was able to have a good look round the shop and as soon as everyone was there we started our tour. Our guide was Chris who had a great knowledge of the brewery. They are quite a number of steep steps to go up and down so do bear this in mind but was worth doing to see original machinery still doing the job that it has been doing for over 100 years . I liked that the group was not over large so we could all see and hear everything. At The end you go into the bar area where you can sample the beer they have on tap, as my husband was driving that was a lot of beer for me, we then left with a number of bottles to drink at home
  • The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and there's a nice gift shop (with reasonable prices) adjacent to a beer tasting bar & café area.
  • Had our first visit here today..fascinating place with lots of history and lovely little shop..also had lunch in the and service was superb apart from one of the women working there with dark hair and glasses..all she did was moan about a particular colleague who was an elderly chap doing the 2pm tour and how it was her first day back after a weeks holiday..hook Norton brewery was lovely just this particular member of staff ruined my first and now only visit (was going to enquire about holding a party there but that won't be happening).
  • 1849 Oxfordshire Brewery with the most amazing visitors centre open from 9:30-4:30 Mon through Sat all year, housed in the original maltings. Brewery tours available on application. Plenty of parking available and the brewery tap is only a short walk, but the visitor centre has its own bar. £12 will fetch you a four pint take out of your own choice, but the shop is well bottle stocked. Cafe caters for alternative refreshment and cold snacks. Museum above the visitors centre is free. Pay by cash or card.
  • Well worth a visit. Good brewery tour!
