  • Lovely day out with family. Great for kids to interact with the animals. Arrows would help with directions so you don’t miss anything. Only downfall is the cafe is a rip off.  more »
  • I have a mixed review of all things wild as some bits were good and some were not. There seemed to be not many animals in their padocks or cages or they were being moved, so we couldnt see many of the...  more »

  • Lovely place to take the kids. It was raining the day we went, even so the kids enjoyed it. There is a good mix of indoor and out door activities. We took a picnic which we were able to have in the big soft play area. It does get very busy during school holidays but all in all a great day out. We will definitely be going back to enjoy it in the summer.
  • Great day out with kids. Wear wellies if it's been raining, lots of splashy puddles for kids to enjoy. Great walk around dinosaur fields, and kids really loved playing with diggers, helicopter and finding the dinosaur fossil in the sand. Dino barn was good too, with good exhibition of Ice Age. Didn't spend much time with the animals, disappointed the wallaby walk wasn't open. Soft play looked clean, we went in about 4pm when, although still busy, probably not as packed as earlier during the day. Still some rough older kids, the soft play isn't supervised by staff, and as usual neither by parents!! Porcupines and meerkats were fun to watch together. Didn't try the food, but slices of cake looked good, and lots of variety. Free squash for kids in soft play which I thought was excellent. Cup to self serve tea was £1.60 - a bit steep considering it's help yourself out of a machine. Would return again, maybe in a few months time, as we didn't get to do everything, we were there for approx 4 hours. Lots of picnic benches in different locations which was lovely to stop and have a snack with the kids around the venue. Entry for one adult and 2 kids was just over £32, and I think that was OK. We had a good day, but if it had rained a lot, it might not have been so good as a lot is outside.
  • Fabulous day out, loads to see & do. Plenty of opportunities to get up close to animals which the kids love. Looses a star as the cafe is not the best organised or stocked, maybe the nice weather caught them out. They started running out of some stuff before midday - we lunched early to avoid the lunch rush. Also only 1 till so folks trying to pay for ice creams have to stand in line with those getting hot food which takes a while, resulting in slightly melted ice creams! So I'd say maybe pack a picnic 😆 Overall though a great day out was had 👍
  • Well ! We, the family, all eight of us including the toddler arrived at about 11a.m.It was a lot of walking but plenty of places to sit at tables and take a snack or have lunch. It was overcast but not too chilly. There was so much too see..so.many types of animals birds even insect life. There was a lovely huge section with lifesize dinosaur's etc.which the children loved.and some sort of leaflets for children which they had to fund at various points. We all went in on a family ticket which saved some money. We emerged at the end about four pm still.not having seen it all which means that we ,at some point, will go back again. All in all a very happy time
  • Nice place to go. Loved the goat and bunny walk through, my son loved feeding the goats. I understand it needs money to be kept running but it seemed expensive for what was there. I would go back but as a treat Maybe annually.
