  • A recent visit with my wife brought back fond memories of childhood visits, staff are very enthusiastic and are very chatty in the Folk museum. Gives an amazing insight of how life was in those days. Looking forward to taking my old children and letting them experience it! The transport museum is equally as Interesting - full of cars, trains and planes. A lot of walking involved so wear comfortable shoes and hopefully the weather will be favourable. Well worth a visit.
  • A really great family day out. We bought tickets for both the Folk and the Transport museum but could have spent the entire day in the Folk museum and still not see it all. The staff are fantastic, they really get into character in the various shops and houses - very effective way to teach the kids. I can see this as being a regular place to visit.
  • Good for a full day out with the family. Excellent insight into Ireland's history, with actual buildings from around the country, all of which have been dismantled and rebuilt stone by stone.
  • We had an amazing day yesterday would highly recommend it as a fun family day out. It was saint Patrick's day and there was plenty of fun activities to get involved with dancing, art activities, cooking and so on. I have to say we had great fun with the historic charters who were dressed up the children and adults enjoy the interaction with them and we learnt a lot but also had such a laugh especially the police man who totally made our day. We go every year and wouldn't miss it . So thanks for another great day out.
  • Great museum with loads of stock. Staff went super helpful but still friendly. Came to see it because of the Guinness loco.
