  • Testing walking trails up some steep, loose gravel terrain, great views over the airport, Belfast lough and beyond. Really nice during autumn if it has been dry as there is a crunchy 'carpet' of leave...  more »
  • Perfect for family rambles, walking the dog, a little or a lot of exercise and upon reaching the top the reward of spectacular views.
  • Beautiful scenery and breathtaking views from the top. That is if you have any breath left after the hike up the hills ;) keep the younger ones amused by looking for squirrels and visiting the old bea...  more »

  • Pleasant place to walk in the late Autumn after a dry spell, the ground looks like it could be very wet and muddy very quickly during a prolonged wet spell. Not a lot here to see or do other than walking the steep! terrain. There are a few signposts marking out the various trails. Great views across Belfast and Belfast Lough.
  • this place was the worst experience of my entire life. never have I wanted to leave somewhere more. this place was horrible, steep, humid, confusing, rocky and just plain awful! my friends and I got lost here for over 2 hours when we intended to be there for half an hour at most! there are no clear signs directing you anywhere, the hills are unbelievably steep and my friend even fell. we got completely lost and I honestly thought we were never getting out. the only reason I am here to tell the tale is because we had to make jokes while walking, otherwise we would have died. I strongly recommend not visiting here, as you may as well plan to live here because you will never get out. we hated red burn country park with a passion!!!! my advice - try gosford or tollymore instead!
  • Great place for a walk, with many starting points and different trails there is something to suit everyone. And if you make it to the top, great views over Belfast Lough.
  • Beautiful walk, the views over belfast are exquisite. Quite a steep walk so make sure to wear good shoes.
  • this is a great place to walk through, it got a great view to see too, very good of all people I say
