  • Spent the day on Lindisfarne and found it very interesting and the priory is definately worth a visit if you are on the Island

  • This was a great place to visit for the day. Make sure you check the tide schedules the day before and allow enough time to also see the castle! The history and age of this place is amazing, and definitely worth a visit. The priory and ruins don't take long to look around, but the town has a few gift shops that you can go look in when you're done at the priory.
  • Great place on Grat island. While aroundy you have to see it.
  • Steeped in time. A little quiz sheet for kids in the current Abbey a dramatised to pay option in one of the ruin. Can easily spend an hour or two started out at 702 ad two minutes past seven not bad
  • Really interesting afternoon looking around the Lindisfarne Priory. Feels like you're stepping back in time here when your looking at the resting place of St Cuthbert and the first monks to live on the island!
  • Lindisfarne is as beautiful as I remember definitely worth a visit just remember to check the tide chart that is posted before you drive across. 😄
