  • Very informative, great views. I love going up the watchtower, sometimes just sitting for a while. Enjoyed watching a storm from there once!
  • Love seeing all the seals and birds and other animals lots of lovely views of the island and sea love coming hear with my mum and dad and the dog.
  • The national nature reserve is obviously important and apart from the range of sea birds there was a whole host of seals basking in the sunshine - brilliant.

  • Only word to describe this is Idyllic. Great views, lots of walks and nice shops.
  • A beautiful, unspoilt island nature reserve. Lots of footpaths around the island allow easy exploration. The village community has pubs, hotels and shops. Keep an eye (and ear) out for the hundreds of grey seals that congregate on the sand bars when the tide is out.
  • Great place, especially when you consider that it's completely cut off for so many hours daily, we ate at the Crown and lobster good food, good choice and very reasonable. Visited the castle and the priory. Plenty to do.
  • Absolutely gorgeous, one of the most beautiful places I have been to!
  • A beautiful, remote island packed full of history and charm. Cut off from the mainland by a tidal causeway, Holy island is a brilliant place to bring the family. Visit the historical ruins, the castle, local shops and the beaches. A great local day out. Look out for the seals playing in the bay L
