  • We were lucky to be staying in the area and our boys (9 & 10) wanted to have a go at some archery while on holiday. We were expecting some basic tuition on a range of some sort but we had so much more. Andrew and his family / team put such care, thought and attention into every detail making the whole visit a genuine experience and more than just 'having a go' at archery. Everyone had one to one attention and assistance on the ranges. The themes, complete with suitable decoration and music is wonderfully done creating a great atmosphere. The dramatic reveal of each range was a perfect theatrical touch. Complimentary drinks and snacks were very welcome, especially the hot drinks for parents observing their 9 year old develop into a surprisingly adept "little sniper"! It's worth noting that while the ranges are outdoors, the archers are kept under cover making it an all-weather activity. The session took around 2 hours at a relaxed pace and we definitely felt we had good value for money and a worthwhile experience. As others have mentioned, you can learn a lot about archery from Andrew, with historical insight and as many other things as you care to ask about, including the terrifying strength of the 'war bow' and armour piercing arrows. If we lived in the area, we'd be here regularly, and we certainly plan to visit again, even if it means taking a detour as it is totally worth going out of your way to visit. I can't recommend it highly enough.
  • Their repeat customers will all tell you why it's an amazing place. Andrew and the gang have so much experience and expertise it makes the who place amazing. The staff, the music, the venue, the catering all amazing!
  • Absoloutely exceptional experience. Fun filled themed learning. Great day for the family and kids and a great gift. Only downside is how addictive...on my 4th visit now... I shall be a dragon slayer!
  • Excellent staff, venue, and location. Training one to one was outstanding and very patient. Choice of bow types excellent to, and they fixed up my own personal Longbow. I now have enough technique to train in my own time.
  • Amazing experience, having interesting targets really adds to the experience.
