Where do I even start with the POOR, DISGUSTING and VILE rundown place. With a 50 mile trip to treat my child we walk in and the adventure park is really dark and crammed with tables and chairs where you can hardly move around. The climbing frames need a good detox and I have seen a lot of run down places which claim to the the "best for children" and i am not one to leave a review on places but with the money spent on petrol and entry into something which claims to be great, I would highly avoid. I ordered some food for my family and the total order was jacket potato with beans, nuggets with potato smilies and beans and a burger. The salad which was an extra 50 pence which went with the he jacket potato, I could easily say it would not even be classed as reduced in a supermarket as it was browning and the tomatoes were shrivelled to the point that it tasted very sour. The plate for my son with the nuggets were such a small portion for 4 pounds it looked like it was left over from another order. I wouldn't even feed my child that at home let alone in a place you call good food for children. The nuggets were burnt, the smilies were cold and under cooked and the plate was big enough to fit 4 biscuits on there. Utterly terrible. Now the burger. For the price of 3 pounds for a burger usually some places at least offer a "salad" or chips to go with. It was basically a rustlers burger cooked in the microwave and served on and saucer as an adult meal. How disgusting. I asked the manager that i wasn't happy with this and I would like to change my order, it should have been specified that it was just a burger. She basically said I am not going to throw away food and if you don't like it you can buy another meal. The jacket potato with cheese and beans as an adult meal was 3 pounds and a fake cooked burger was 3 pounds, the service was very poor and didn't leave me much choice but to eat half and bin the other in disgust. I have never had such a bad experience at a "family orientated place" and I highly recommend that the staff and manager are retrained to deal with customers and food to be revised as 20 pounds spent on just food to be basically thrown away. The manager literally came up to my face and tried to assert herself as the manager in a very boisterous way to try and throw me off my complaint. The cheek to also say that I should purchase more of their poor quality food if I am not happy. Now with the racing part which was actually the main event for my child. The day just went from worse to absolutey terrible. Geared up. Helmet on to go onto a 30 minute race on a 5-6 mile per hour kart. My child could ride faster on their bike than their the poor quality karts they provided.'s all the fuss with the safety talk and big helmet was such a waste of time. Also not to mention that once you book you have to pay in advance before the day even arrives as if to say they don't trust us customers to keep to a booking. I asked the receptionist that we didn't drive a 2 hour journey to do the same thing we could have done 10 minutes away can my child go a step up? No...no excuse no compromise... well could I have half a refund because I refuse for my son to go on what you call a kart and by himself as well. We can give you a credit note for next time. What actually makes you think I shall make a wasted trip to your complex for a next time. So much to say about this place but to drone on and on just makes me very angry. I shall never ever EVER come back here again. Treated like trash and not like a customer. Waste of 100 pound day. If I could give 0 stars I would
Don't bother messing about with indoor tracks, just come to Rye House. Laser tag is great fun too. Do both in one evening.
The course is challenging and varied and all the staff are helpful. Great fun.
Beyond a joke. I came here as part of the Covkarting, And you put us Junior Covkarters into your 120CC Lawn Mowers, I could only just have enough room to turn the wheel, We were all strapped in like babies, Even though every single one of the Junior Covkarters can handle your twin engined proper karts, A bloody mobility scooter could go faster, I was extremely uncomfortable and it was a humiliation to all of the Junior Covkarters, I didn't stand any chance as I excel at taking corners as I am the heaviest of the Junior Covkarters, But the karts were so slow everyone was taking the corners the same way, SLOW! So any advantage I had on corners was immediately negated by the straights where people flew past me, Pathetic. I don't know how you darest place drivers of such skill level in your pathetic lawn mowers.
Lovely day at rye house today been here many times before I would recommend it to every1 if you like your go karts
