  • Visited here a couple times to walk the fur babies, lots of different routes to explore, some hillier than others! Car park is often busy but normally find a spot within a few mins. Outside cafe only....  more »
  • Lovely walk around the Punchbowl today. We took the white colour code route, quite a few hills, good exercise in the early morning mist. It took about just over 3hrs to walk round - most enjoyable...  more »
  • I have not been here in over 50 years, I have traveled through Hindhead many a time and gone through the new tunnel, so visiting it for real was such an eye opener. Small free carpark as the machines....  more »

  • Lovely National Trust Space with cafe and clean toilets. Free Parking for members. Peaceful walks especially if you do one of the longer ones away from the car park, plenty of signposted walks so that you don't get lost. Please keep dogs on leads in areas where heather is growing as this in where the ground nesting birds are likely to be from April to September.
  • Beautiful place, wery quite. An ideal place for those who like to walk but if you choose The trail you must be careful about the markings of the trails. the markings are incomplete or blurred (the violet trail, has incomplete markings with the wife and children we are lost). There are several routes to choose from, violet is the longest, around 5 km long. For people ho have national trust members, car park is for free.
  • Like many locals it is hard to imagine that we spent many hours of Our Lives queuing along what was the A3 3 around the Punch Bowl! It is is such an improvement upon this beautiful area that the road is now in a tunnel some way beneath your feet. However it is a shame that the process of regeneration was not Aided by by adding topsoil to the the tunnel spoil that has been put along the old roadbed. No doubt if I return in another 10 years the plant life will have got a stronger foothold and the scar along the side of the Hill will have gone.
  • National Trust café service was a little slow, I thought. However, portion size was good, and quality too. Walkers please be aware. Some of the circular walks here finish with their steepest climbs, just as your energy is most depleted. Older people will need more rest stops.. good job the views are stunning.
  • Nice views and open space for dogs. Interesting history. I remember being in a car as a child being driven on the old road round the Punchbowl and looking down over it. Shame it's not the same but everything changes.
