  • Whilst visiting SVR to experience both the Flying Scotsman and Tornado trains we stopped at The Engine House. Very interesting, shame we couldn't stay longer
  • This place is really great! A real insight to the history of the Severn Valley Railway and what it has to offer. Well worth a drop off of on the SVR line. Staff are very accommodating and there is an ...  read more »

  • A great place to learn, hands on, about steam engines. Lots for children to have a go on and there's a good pay area outside when they've had enough of the trains. The cafe had great views out over the Severn Valley and has a good selection of food and drinks. The engine house is by the station, so you can watch the trains running. It's is also by the country park of you fancy a wander in the lovely scenery as well.
  • Modern, spacious and air conditioned museum dedicated to steam railway history. Very friendly staff and excellent views of the nearby railway.
  • This was free when we purchased SVR train ticket. Do we got off train to have a look round, children loved the big steam trains and outside park. One train had steam and noise, they look massive when not on tracks! Cafe with balcony with nice views. Also gift shop and toilets. worth a visit, the SVR is well worth going on anyway.
  • Absolutely worth visiting! Its without a doubt an unforgettable experience worth doing!!!!!!
  • Fantastic place to visit, kids will love it.Plenty to do, and free entry with 'freedom of the line ticket'.
