I took my family to The White Hart, for some good old pub lunch. There was a lot of variety to choose from on the menu. I opted for steak (20 ounce) and I'm glad I did. It was fantastic, cooked to per... read more »
Good food reasonably priced and excellent service to go with it. Very cold friendly. Will be back. Table of 9 and all food arrived together and was hot and very good. So many of these places fall down... read more »
Enjoying the food and drinks with family, value for money and plenty of choices. Great out door space, shame about wasps
Had afternoon lunch here for first time very pleased with food service and drinks and great value for money we all 4 said were defo come again so well done
Don't know what people are complaining about! The menu is extensive and very good value and the food is lovely. This isn't a wetherspoons it's much better. Drinks are well priced and the staff have been very pleasant. There's was so much food we even got to take some home for our doggie and he loves it too. For those moaning go back to your small plate overpriced gourmet dives and go home hungry.
After phoning at 7:45 on a Friday evening to check the kitchen was still open and told it would be open until at least 9 (it should be 10 but apparently there was an "issue" in the kitchen) we drove out and arrived at 8:25 to be told the kitchen was already closed. I should be grateful as we drove back towards home and found an excellent Italian restaurant.
Yet again a regular family customer will be dodging the White Heart. Reserved tables today with a poor excuse. We Waited anyway. to be served with plastic tuds of sauce with the starters. No mains which we wanted. Wrong orders served. After being here for over 2 hours all the tables reserved were still empty. Gone down hill
Worst pub I've been to in a long time. Extremely rude staff, no atmosphere, and grubby decor. The food is fine as long as you like it stone cold, stale and tasteless. They didn't even stock everything they have on the menu. I used to go here years ago and it was ok, but this is the first time we've been here since, and we will never return.
