  • House is very interesting, well worth a visit, but the café (which is half the point of going to a NT property) is a bit dismal and ludicrously expensive - tea and cake cost more than a fancy café in central London, and aren't even very good.
  • A delightful 'little' house and insight into Lord Nuffield's life history. We loved the fact it's stayed the same since the 1960's. Such a humble home for someone who was reputedly earning £2,000 a day at the height of his career!! Good way to kill a few hours and finish the day with a nice slice of cake & coffee!!!
  • Pleasant environment with an interesting take on recent history. Strangely reminiscent of my grandmother's house
  • A quirky change to the usual NT houses as it is a different era. Loved the way it looked, especially the interesting wardrobe. Entertaining talk and information from all the friendly volunteers. Hope to go back soon. Jane
  • Lovely 1930s art deco millionaire's mansion.
